Born and raised in the south west of England, I started work shortly after leaving secondary school, Without the luxury of being able to attend and further education I rely heavily on my school English qualifications in both Language, and Literacy when it comes to my writing skills.
I was raised in what can only be described as a far from idyllic family environment which reached its peak with the bitter divorce of my parents and being completely disowned by my parental father.
Following the breakup of my own 2 year relationship, I met the love of my life and indeed, true soul mate. I was quickly accepted by their parents and eagerly absorbed into their love and family home.
Not being able to express my true feelings due to the emotional trauma of my upbringing I felt compelled to put pen to paper and write a story that would try to explain this in a bid to help overcome my demons and allow my partner to truly know how much they meant to me.
In doing so I found it easier to spread my true self over many of the characters within the book even to the point of completely reversing my self and the dominant's roles, to make a story that, not only allowed me to express every angle of my emotions and inner self but also, I hope make for an more captivating read.
It was, like Miss Linda, through the introduction of the B.D.S.M lifestyle into our relationship that I finally found a way to express myself and let out everything that had been pent up within me for so long.
I have, of course taken the story up far more levels than that of my own experience and in doing so, spent a great deal of time engaged in research to try to ensure that what I write is both factual and educational at the same time.
I have been with my partner for considerable time now and although we have been close and in fact married for over 25years, We have never connected on such a high; emotional plane, as we do when we practice the lifestyle. Something that I hope you, the reader will come to understand as my story unfolds through the pages.
